Your scorebook, online

Everything a paper scorebook does — and the maths

A paper scorebook needs a careful scorer and someone to add it all up. Online scoring does the adding for you and puts the result where everyone can see it.

Works in any browser

Chrome, Safari or anything else, on a phone at the boundary or a laptop in the pavilion.

Strike and overs handled

Strike rotation, over changes, run rates, the target and the required rate are worked out ball by ball.

A link instead of a photo

Share one scorecard link on WhatsApp instead of photos of the scorebook. It stays up to date as you score.

Commentary written for you

Every ball gets a line of commentary automatically — nothing extra to type.

Stats without a spreadsheet

When the match ends, every player's career batting and bowling record updates on its own.

Only your scorers can edit

The match creator, their co-scorers and the tournament's organizers can score. Everyone else can only watch.

Questions

Online scoring questions

Can I score a cricket match online without an app?

Yes. Open criconic.com in any browser, create the match and start scoring. You only need an account to score — fans can follow without one.

Does online scoring work without internet?

The website needs a connection to save each ball. If your ground has a patchy signal, use the Criconic app — it keeps scoring offline and syncs later without duplicate balls.

Is it really free?

Yes for scoring and stats. Ball-by-ball scoring, live scorecards, commentary, career batting and bowling stats, badges, wagon wheels, pitch maps and stream overlays cost ₹0 — no subscription and no card to enter.

Do fans need an account to follow the match?

No. Scorecards, player profiles, teams and tournaments are public. Share the link on WhatsApp and anyone can follow ball by ball in their browser.

Can two people score the same match?

One person scores at a time, but the match creator can add co-scorers from match settings in the Criconic app, and a tournament's organizers can score any of its matches.

Can I fix a ball I scored wrongly?

Yes. Undo the last ball as many times as you need — even back into the previous innings — then score it again.
