2. Device Permissions (Camera & Contacts)
To provide specific interactive features, the Criconic mobile app requests access to certain device features. These permissions are requested on-demand only when you perform relevant actions:
- Camera Permission (
android.permission.CAMERA): - Used exclusively to scan QR codes for quickly joining teams, matches, or tournaments. Criconic does not record audio or video in the background, nor does it capture unauthorized photos.
- Contacts Permission (
android.permission.READ_CONTACTS): - Used only when you choose to add or invite players to your cricket team from your device's address book. Criconic does not store, harvest, or share your full contact list on our servers. Access is strictly on-demand.
You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings (Settings > Apps > Criconic > Permissions).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide real-time cricket scoring, statistics, and tournament management.
- To allow players, team captains, and tournament organizers to connect.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical bugs, fraud, or misuse.

6. User Rights & Account/Data Deletion
You have full control over your personal data:
- Account & Data Deletion: You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time:
- In-App: Go to Settings > Delete Account in the Criconic app.
- Via Email: Send an email to support@criconic.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address. Upon receiving your request, your personal data will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
- Access and Correction: You can view and update your profile details anytime inside the app.
7. Children's Privacy
Criconic is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@criconic.com, and we will promptly delete the data.
